Please read the Parent Letter below for important information regarding the Free & Reduced
        Application:

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Children need healthy meals to learn.  The Jackson County School District offers a choice of healthy meals each school day.  Children may participate in lunch and breakfast at every school site. Breakfast cost is $0.00 for all students; Elementary lunch costs $1.75; Middle and High School lunch costs $2.00.  Some children may also get meals free or at a reduced price.  Reduced price for lunch is $.40. Your children must pay for meals until your family application has been approved. You will be notified by mail when your application has been processed. All meals served must meet nutrition standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  If your child has a disability as defined by the Americans With Disability Act and that disability prevents your child from eating the regular school meal, the school will make any substitutions prescribed by a medical professional at no extra charge.  The school is not required to make a substitution for a food allergy unless the allergy meets the definition of disability.  Please contact us for further information at (850) 482-9958.
